Honeysuckle enjoyed great success in the showring being a multi Royal Champion, however her real forte came as a broodmare. 

When covered by Mirinda Sovereign (Keston Royal Occasion Imp UK x Rotherwood Love-In-The-Mist Imp UK) Honeysuckle produced the multi Royal and All Welsh Champions - Cherrington King Midas, Queen of Sheba, Congarinni King Cyrus and Queen Bee.

These ponies enjoyed enormous success in the showring and have gone on to breed a large number of winners at all major shows across Australia for their respective owners. Honeysuckle’s last colt King Tobias is destined to follow in the footsteps of his famous siblings and will be retained by the stud as a future sire.

Cherrington King Darius (x Sarnau Saunter Imp UK) claimed many champions including Champion Colt at Canberra Royal and the Victorian All Welsh. Darius was sadly gelded due to fertility problems and now is enjoying the life of a children’s pony. 

Cherrington King Demitrius (x Kirreway Playfair) has been lightly campaigned under saddle in the superb hands of Bev and Christie Hall.  Already a multi Champion Show Hunter pony, we eagerly await the results from their 08/09 season.

Sadly, this wonderful mare suddenly passed away in February 2007 at the age of 22. A pony that is gravely missed and one we will always be grateful for the contribution she made to the stud.
